Alcohol Ink Art – Creating an Ombre Background with Stampin’ Blends and Shimmer Paint

Hi there and welcome to AddINKtive Designs. Today I’m sharing a short video explaining how I achieved this gorgeous, ombre, shimmery, alcohol ink blended background on my card.

I was originally inspired by Michele Jutrisa’s beautiful cards that feature alcohol ink art. However, I did approach this technique in a slightly different way as I wanted to create a larger ombre background and add a bit of ‘shimmer’. After a fun afternoon of experimenting, I was really chuffed with the end result.

So hop on over to my You Tube Channel to see how I achieved this unique looking piece of Alcohol Ink Art using Stampin’ Blends (alcohol markers) and Frost White Shimmer Paint –

While you’re there, I would love it if you subscribed to my channel and gave me a ‘thumbs up’ to help my channel grow!
