Artistic Blossoms Scalloped Pop-Up Box Card

Hi and welcome to AddINKtive Designs. I’ve been on a bit of a roll with card making lately, having fun entering card challenges, using some long forgotten products from my stash and combining them with some newly acquired stamps and dies … and not running to ‘deadlines’ due to product ‘retirement’ … just enjoying the creative process!

Just Add Ink’s latest colour challenge is a perfect combo to use with the Artistic Blossoms Dies that I’d recently purchased from my local ‘scrapbooking’ store. I decided to arrange the die-cuts in a Scalloped Pop-Up Box Card, a die that I’ve owned for years and NEVER used … you know the saying, “I’ve come to the conclusion that buying craft supplies and actually using them are two separate hobbies” (Unk) and that is the philosophy behind the NBUS Challenge Blog … to use the NEVER-BEFORE-USED-Schtuff! I think I’ll be returning to that challenge blog on a regular basis. I’ve entered this card in their 60th Challenge.

The ‘sentiment’ is from a Stampendous Stamp Set, Bible Verses which I die-cut with a Nested Essentials Die and the Cajun Craze Leafy Die-cuts are from Textured Florals (both SU).

Thanks for visiting my blog today,

  1. Very pretty Bron. I really love the scalloped edges – not only do the add a lovely edge but also team well with the DSP. Chantell x x.

  2. Wow, love your sweet box card, Bronwyn! The pretty flowers and lovely paper with the wonderful scalloped details make this a gift in itself.

  3. Hi Bronwyn! Wow, your pop-up card is incredible! I love the colors and the way the lacy border mimics the petals of the daisies! Thank you for the shout-out and for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Happy Easter! Hugs, Darnell
