Home & Garden/Plentiful Plants Tent Card Tutorial

Hi there and welcome to AddINKtive Designs.

Today’s post finds me in a bitter sweet position – ‘sweet’ because I have plenty of time to spend in my craft room and my order with brand new products arrived two days ago; ‘bitter’ because we’re not technically in lockdown but since the state border opened up, COVID cases have been rising at an exponential rate and many businesses are closing temporarily due to staff infections.  Hubby and I have decided just to venture out for essentials or exercise and in a few days we’ll have my elderly mum staying with us for a while. The vaccination rates are high in Tasmania (we’re all vaxxed up) and we’ll let OMICRON do its ‘thing’ and hopefully purge the land of the dreaded plague. It’s really a blessing in disguise with this strain being less nasty but I’d prefer not to catch the virus if I can help it. I hate even getting a head cold (which is a rare event).

I write these little spiels in a blog post every now and then just to record a little part of ‘history’, so please bear with me. Onto the card …

… and new products. I have had the Home & Garden Bundle for a few weeks now and wanted to make a card with the ladder image just so I could add some pot plants to the rungs. It’s fun doing miniature home and garden decor with paper, stamps, inks and dies!

I decided on a tent fold to showcase what I wanted to achieve and had plenty of left over stamped images from The Stamp Review Crew, Plentiful Plants Blog Hop, so it didn’t take me long to make this card at all.

If you’d like the instructions, I’ve put together a tutorial to make your card making experience super easy. Just click on the link below to take you to my Tutorial Shop –
