TOP 3 Tutorials for 2020 – COMPETITION TIME

Hello and welcome to AddINKtive Designs.

2020 has certainly been an interesting year full of challenges – at the height of lockdown in our state of Tasmania, I threw myself into designing and writing quite a few card tutorials. The craft room became my ‘go to place to escape’. Our travel plans were ‘on hold’ and I was feeling a little restless; I’m now extremely grateful and thankful that my little business faired well during such a difficult time.

Many of my readers have sent messages or emails often sharing their projects inspired by my tutorials. I absolutely love to inspire others and am totally inspired in return.

This morning I received a lovely email from Vicky Malin from Iowa in the USA; she sent two pictures of her absolutely stunning Pocket Cards that she had made using the Poinsettia Dies and coordinating DSP.

Wow! Her cards are simply gorgeous. My ‘Pretty Pines’ Pocket Card Tutorial is an old one (from 2018) and you do need an Envelope Punch Board to make this fold (now a retired SU item). I just love seeing this design made with current products from the Holiday Catalogue.

Stunning right??! I think I’d like to make one too.

  1. They are all really lovely but I think the Graces garden double z fold is my favourite as it really has the wow factor!! Much love from Derbyshire UK

  2. Bronwyn, I’ve always admired your beautiful, fun designs and eye for color combinations since joining SU! I love each card, but do believe my favorite is “Grace’s Garden” due to my love of gardening & the beauty of family shown in this stunning & heart-warming card.

I thank you also for your wonderful tutorials. Well written & clear instructions with photos along the way make it much easier to follow along in making my own creations.

I sincerely thank you & was so happy to see that you returned as a SU! demonstrator. I can only hope to meet you in person one day.

Stay safe & stay healthy. Happy travels!

  3. I love all interactive cards but my favorite is the planter box card. Thank you for all the wonderful inspiration this year. I am looking forward to what 2021 will bring.

  4. I love them all, but I think Grace’s Garden Z-fold would be my favorite. Now I’ve got to check to see if I bought that folded pocket tutorial?????

  5. I love the lady bug with poppies! You do great work and I am so thankful I got to meet you and spend some time with you when I was in Tassie.

  6. Hi Bronwyn,
I have loved the creative year with you. Your card stock engineering mind is inspiring. I am so grateful that for those of us “less engineering-like” that you put together these fab tutorials.
My fave this year is the Planter Box Extended Z-Fold Card Tutorial. I am not surprised it has made your top 3.
