Coffee Cup Pop-Up Card for Hubby’s Birthday

Hi and welcome to AddINKtive Designs. Today I’m sharing the card I made for my husband’s birthday.

He loves his coffee so I decided to use the cute, Coffee Cup Pop-Up Dies from Karen Burniston to make his card.

For the card front and inside panels, I used a striped piece of Countryside Inn DSP and for the die-cuts, some Basic White, Boho Blue, Real Red, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake Cardstock. A Deckled Rectangle Die-cut was added for the handwritten greeting.

I thought that the Happy Birthday to You Sentiment from Zany Zoo (SU) was just the right sized greeting for the label on the card front. To complete the project I stamped a coffee mug image (retired Coffee Break Stamp Set from Joy Clair) to the envelope with Early Espresso and Crumb Cake Ink and coloured it with Balmy Blue and Basic Gray Watercolor Pencils.

It was fun to finally make a card using these pop-up dies.
