Bird’s Eye View Double Z-Fold Box Card

Hello and welcome to AddINKtive Designs.

Today I’m participating in another card challenge, this time at Seize the Birthday. My card was made for challenge #262 with an optional ‘topping’ to Make it Pop.

It’s been a while since I’ve played along at Seize the Birthday (which always has a birthday theme) and decided that the pop-up inserts (in the box section of this double z-fold card) would fit the ‘topping’ for their latest challenge.

I was keen to stamp and colour the cute birds from the new, Bird’s Eye View Stamp Set and add them to a card base that I made for a recent card fold demonstration.

I used the reverse side of some papers from the pack of Fresh as a Daisy DSP for the grassy hills and sky and coloured the birds with Stampin’ Blends – Colours Used: Tree – Old Olive and Pecan Pie, Larger Birds – Pool Party, Lost Lagoon, Crumb Cake (glasses brushed with some Clear Wink of Stella. Boho Blue or Pretty Peacock Blends were used to colour in the glasses that extended beyond the birds’ heads so as to blend in with the background papers), Smaller Birds – Crumb Cake, Copper Clay, Balloon – Lemon Lolly.

Like what you see? Any of the products for today’s card can be purchased from the Australian Stampin’ Up! ® website. Just click on the link below to take you there and consider choosing me (Bronwyn Eastley) as your Demonstrator. Thank you.
