Kite Delight Slider Card for This Goes With That Challenge

Hi there. Welcome to my blog. Today I’m sharing an interactive card inspired by a ‘This Goes With That’ Stamping Challenge featured on Demonstrator Planning Place on Facebook –

Sharni demonstrated this cute, ‘Hello Ladybug’ Slider Card on DPP. The idea of the challenge is to use alternative stamps, dies, embellishments etc. particularly if you don’t have the supplies Sharni used in her project.

Even though I do own all of the supplies except for the oval punch that was used for the end of the slider tab, I thought it would be fun to make a completely different version by combining the Kite Delight and Here Together Stamp Sets. You can check out the complete supplies list at the end of this post.

I purchased the Kite Delight Stamp Set for sentimental reasons. My dad used to make and fly kites with my brother, sister and I. I have fond memories of helping him make a kite in the garage and then giving it a test run at the Bluff Beach in Devonport, Tasmania. We also flew kites at CYC Camp (now known as Camp Clayton) and at Braddon’s Lookout, just to name a few places I fondly remember from my childhood days.

Back to the card – Spot the cute little hand with the string attached to the moving kite. It’s part of an image from the Here Together Stamp Set (release date 1st February, 2022) from the All Together Now Collection.
