G’day Fri’yay’ Card Making Challenges – Spring

Welcome to AddINKtive Designs and another G’day Fri’yay’ Card Making Challenge. I’m also celebrating another trip around the sun today!

You can find our Aussie themed challenges in our private group on Facebook and we’d love you to join in. All you have to do is make a NEW paper craft project inspired by the CURRENT theme, take a photo of your project and upload it to the group.

You can use any brand of paper craft products. There’s no Design Team and no ‘winners’ announced each fortnight. It’s all about having fun and encouraging creativity.

In keeping with the seasons in the Southern Hemisphere, tonight’s theme is all about Spring. It’s so lovely to see all the blossoms on the trees and hear the birds chirping in the morning. I’m so glad winter is over for another year.

My Double Easel Card displays some beautiful blossoms and butterflies in vibrant pinks as well as my favourite ‘green’, Mint Macaron. I’ve used the gorgeous Cherry Blossoms Dies, teamed up with the Artistic leaves and Brilliant Wings Dies to create my card for the latest challenge at G’day Fri’yay’.

This is the third in a series of four cards that I’ve made using this card fold. It’s a bit of an obsession at the moment! I just love all the beautiful spring colours in this one.

Thanks for taking an interest and hopping onto my blog today. Feel free to head on over to Facebook and join the group for ideas and inspiration and to play along.

Have you checked out my other Double Easel Cards from previous posts?

  1. Such a pretty card! Mint Macaron and Magenta Madness are great together. I wouldn’t have thought of that combination. Thanks for sharing, and enjoy the spring flowers! Here in Germany autumn is trying to arrive, and I’m looking forward to the changing leaves. Have a wonderful day!
