A Chocolate Holder for Colour INKspiration #93

Welcome to AddINKtive Designs and the latest Colour INKspiration Challenge. Apologies for being a little late with my blog post as my MacBook had to go into the shop for repairs. Thankfully, it’s all been fixed now and I can get back to blogging.

This week we have a great inspiration pic sourced by Colour INKspiration Crew Member, Monica Formosa. I must admit that I cringed when I saw ‘Pacific Point’ as one of the colours but by the time I’d finished my project for this challenge, Pacific Point and I were on good terms.

You can find Colour INKspiration Challenges on Facebook and there are  two challenges every month (on the second and fourth Wednesdays).

The challenge for #CI93 is to make a paper craft project using all the colours from the chosen colour combination, Sahara Sand, Granny Apple Green and Pacific Point; you may also add Basic White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Basic Black and Metallics to your project. We also allow ‘Ivory’ and ‘Bronze’ in the Stampin’ Blends. If you don’t have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest SU substitute (ie: Crumb Cake instead of Sahara Sand)

For CI#93 I’ve made a little Chocolate Holder based on the ones that I made for this month’s Dimensionals Tutorial Bundle. This time I used a retired heart die from the Sweetly Stitched Dies for the inside window and a butterfly image from Butterfly Gala Stamps as the feature focus on the front of the Chocolate Holder. The butterfly has been coloured with Pacific Point and Granny Apple Green Ink using a Blender Pen on Shimmery White Card Stock, then brushed with Clear Wink of Stella Glitter.

All the supplies are listed in the Products List further down in my post.

INKspired to join the challenge? It’s so easy. Firstly, get some INKspiration by checking out all of the creations from the Colour INKspiration Crew in the challenge album on our Facebook page. Then you have until Monday, 22nd February, 7pm (AEDT) to make and upload your creation to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group. You don’t have to have a blog to participate but if you do, you can link back to your post.

If you’d like to purchase any of the products featured (or any SU supplies), please feel free to click on any of the product links below to take you directly to my on-line Store –
