A Tri-Fold Accordion Card for Colour INKspiration #165

Hi and welcome to Colour INKspiration Challenge #165.

For this challenge we’re introducing two new colours –

A huge thanks to my friend, Lou Kitzelman, who kindly gifted me with some paper and embellishments ahead of time so I could participate in this challenge.

I made a Tri-Fold Accordion Card featuring the flowers from Petal Park (now retired) with my favourite leafy die from Textured Florals and a label from Nested Essentials Dies. As I don’t have any new In-Color Ink Pads I found the closest substitutes in my stash for Peach Pie and Shy Shamrock were Mango Melody and Call Me Clover. So if you don’t have any new in colours don’t let that stop you from participating in Colour INKspiration Challenges!

You can find Colour INKspiration Challenges on Facebook and there are two challenges every month (on the second and fourth Wednesdays).

The challenge for CI#165 is to make a paper craft project using all of the colours from the chosen colour combination, Petal Pink, Peach Pie and Shy Shamrock; you may also add Basic White, Basic Beige, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Basic Black or Metallics to your project. We also allow ‘skin tones’ in the Stampin’ Blends. If you don’t have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest substitute you can find using any brand of products.

INKspired to join the challenge? It’s so easy. Firstly, get some INKspiration by checking out all of the creations from the Colour INKspiration Crew in the challenge album on our Facebook page. This challenge will run until Monday, 20th May at 7pm (AEST) to make and upload your project to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group. You don’t have to have a blog to participate but if you do, you can also link back to your post –

The original inspiration for my card came from a lovely card that Cathy Pinchbeck (fellow Colour INKspiration Crew Member) sent me a while back –

If you’d like the instructions for this card fold, be sure to check out my previous blog post – https://addinktivedesigns.com/2024/05/07/funky-folds-blog-hop-03/

  1. Very cool Bronwyn … love how that shaped focal die is repeated with the sentiment underneath. Great fold. xxx
