Theatre Shadow Box Card

Hi there. Welcome to my blog. Today I have a bright and cheery Shadow Box Card to share with you. My daughter’s friend runs a company called ‘Happy Habits’ (Drama related sessions in schools to promote well being among children) and she wanted a fun birthday card to send to her. The brief was to make a 3D card that looked like a stage and I was sent the company’s logo for inspiration –

The colours were my main focus and then to add some cute toadstools and a bee! Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green and a touch of Rich Razzleberry were chosen to make this Theatre Shadow Box Card.

I love the Shadow Box Card Dies from Lawn Fawn and have quite a few of the ‘Add On’ Dies. Today I’ve used the Theater Add Ons to create a stage and the grass edging is cut from a die from the Pop-Up Wiper Card Components (MFT).

The bee is from a retired SU Set called Touches of Texture, the toadstools from a retired SU Set called Foxy Friends and the bold HAPPY BIRTHDAY sentiment is from the current, soon to be retiring, SU Stamp Set called Perennial Birthday.
