Happy Wedding Day – Flowerpot Box Card

Hi and welcome to AddINKtive Designs. Today I have a ‘glammed up’ version of the Flowerpot Box Card that I designed for the May Dimensionals Tutorial Bundle.

Making the flowerpot base from Champagne Foil Sheets and then embossing the pieces with the Subtle and Tin Tile Embossing Folders has given this design a whole new look.

The embossed ‘poppies’ and leaves were coloured with Stampin’ Blends (Light Crumb Cake and Mint Macaron) and layered with some vellum poppies and leaves (both from the Peaceful Poppies Elements Pack).

This is the card I made for our niece and her new husband. They got married on Anzac Day and due to the COVID 19 restrictions, we watched the ceremony via ‘Zoom’. It wasn’t quite the wedding they had planned but they’re happy to be married. I’m looking forward to when family and friends can finally get together and properly celebrate Maddy and Michael’s big day.
