Sunflower Serenade Circle Easel Card

Hi and welcome to AddINKtive Designs. Today I’m sharing a Circle Easel Card; it’s been a really, really long time since I’ve done this type of card fold.

I combined the themes and colour palette required from three different challenge sites to create my project.

Firstly, I was Inspired By … the ‘Daisy’ theme at Inspired By Challenge – #IB281.

I’m so glad that I recently discovered this challenge site and it’s my first time playing along.

Secondly, I opted to use the lovely, bright colour palette at Color Throwdown – #ctd785 …

Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green (SU)

… and last but not least I came across Shopping Our Stash Challenge Site. I’m really excited about this one. It’s a weekly challenge blog which focuses on using the supplies we have on hand or “shopping our stash” instead of always thinking we have to have something new!

Challenge #SOS517 is called Round and Round and the challenge is to make a circle card or feature circles (dots, spots) on your project.

This circle easel card is made from some very old, large, circle dies. I also discovered a daisy embossing folder that had never been used and some Stitched Nested Labels Dies and the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set that were hidden away with all my ‘retired’ SU stash. It felt really good to purposefully seek out some craft products and ‘shop my stash’.

The flower dies, however, are new to my collection; Spellbinders Sunflower Serenade and Autumn Sealed Sprig Dies, plus I used a current leafy die from Textured Florals (SU).

So there you have it … daisies, a lovely colour palette and products from my stash to create this congratulatory card for a friend.

Thanks so much for stopping by,
