‘Perennial Lavender’ Belt and Buckle Card with Pop-Out Planter Box

Hi and welcome to my blog; I’m very excited to share with you my latest tutorial for a ‘Belt and Buckle’ style card.

It features the beautiful Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper and Painted Lavender Bundle from Stampin’ Up! ® (You can check out the complete supplies list further down in this post).

Because I enjoy designing 3D cards I’ve added a little something extra to the inside of my card – a cute little Planter Box that pops out when you open it!

As I don’t own the current, Paper Butterfly Accents, I die-cut a white butterfly from one of my favourite retired die sets, Brilliant Wings to use as a substitute.

I was pretty happy with the way all the elements came together to create a very unique, fun fold.

Supplies List –

Stamp Set: Nature’s Prints, Painted Lavender

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Crumb Cake, Gorgeous Grape

Cardstock: Basic White, Crumb Cake

Designer Series Paper: Perennial Lavender

Dies: Painted Lavender, Stylish Shapes, Nested Essentials, Stitched with Whimsy, Brilliant Wings (retired)

Embellishments: Pearl Basic Jewels

Other: Timber 3D Embossing Folder, Medium Crumb Cake Envelope (retired)

Tools & Adhesives: Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Mini Glue Dots, Strong Two-way Adhesive Tape, Paper Trimmer, Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Bone Folder, Sponge Dauber
