‘On the Horizon’ Multi-block Platform Easel Card

Hi there and welcome to my blog. Today I’m sharing a card that I made for our Pastor’s 60th birthday.

I revisited a card fold that I designed for a Bow-Ho Stampers Tutorial Bundle in April last year; it’s a Multi-Block Platform Easel Card.

I tweaked the original design a ‘smidge’ choosing to have only three blocks in the platform to make way for a sentiment panel at the front.

The gates were die-cut from some Kaisercraft ‘Australiana’ paper and a Bible verse was stamped on the inside (from Stampendous).

Sadly the beautiful stamps and papers from Stampin’ Up! ® have long retired but they won’t be parting from my stash anytime soon; I love them as they make great backgrounds, especially for masculine cards.

You can find the original tutorial for this style of card in our ‘Waves of the Ocean’ Tutorial Bundle –

Today’s card turned out rather similar to the one I’d previously made with the New Horizons DSP and On the Horizon Stamp Set. You can check that one out in the blog post below if you’re interested –
