Pretty Birds for Colour INKspiration #130

Hi there and welcome to my blog; today I’m sharing a Large Curved Pop-Out Card for Colour INKspiration Challenge #130. It features the Wisteria Dies and Pretty Birds Bundle. The card fold was designed by Lou Kitzelman for The Dimensionals, June 2022 Tutorial Bundle.

You can find Colour INKspiration Challenges on Facebook and there are two challenges every month (on the second and fourth Wednesdays).

The challenge for CI#130 is to make a paper craft project using all the colours from the chosen colour combination, Highland Heather, Blackberry Bliss, Night of Navy and Granny Apple Green; you may also add Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Basic White, Very Vanilla, Basic Black or Metallics to your project. We also allow ‘Ivory’ and ‘Bronze’ in the Stampin’ Blends. If you don’t have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest SU substitute (ie: Pear Pizzazz instead of Granny Apple Green). 

Crew Member, Lou Kitzelman, chose the inspiration pic for today’s challenge so it was ‘perfect’ timing to try out her amazing card design.

I pretty much CASED (copied and selectively edited) Lou’s original design switching up the colour palette to suit today’s challenge and making some other subtle changes. The leaves and top layer for the wisteria were sponged with Granny Apple Green and Highland Heather Ink respectively and I chose to include the Painted Posies 3D Embossing Folder on the card base.
