Hello and welcome to my blog. Tonight I’ve got a really fun card to share with you.
My ‘Rainbow of Happiness’ Bundle arrived and I was eager to combine it with the cute little unicorn from Hippo Happiness to make a Triple Easel Card.
I went searching for a challenge or two to act as a springboard for ideas and decided to play along with Festive Friday’s 100th Challenge and Tic Tac Toe’s 144th –
For Festive Friday the three elements that I chose from the INSPO LIST were GOLD, FANCY FOLD and PATTERNED PAPERS.
PS: This happened! Thanks so much to the DT at Festive Friday.
For Tic Tac Toe I chose the right column, down – BLUE, ANIMAL and FREE.
I’ve made Triple Easel Cards with and without ‘nesting’ dies and decided to try making one with some Stitched Rectangles Dies. I’ve chosen to use the reverse side of a Balmy Blue piece of Simply Marbleous DSP for the ‘cloudy’ background. The rainbow was also die-cut from a variety of colours out of the same pack of DSP.
The overall design needs tweaking a little and I’d love to write a tutorial for this card fold when I finally get my hands on the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper.
I’m looking forward to making lots more projects with the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle simply because it makes me happy!
