Celebrate Sunflowers Vertical Easel Card with Floating Panel

Hi and welcome to AddINKtive Designs.

Tonight I have a bespoke card to share with you that I made for our niece’s wedding.

Jenna wed her sweetheart, Zeb at Mt. Gnomon Farm today. It’s a popular tourist spot and wedding venue (especially when the sunflowers are in full bloom), situated in North West Tasmania, just inland from the coastal town of Penguin.

I used the colours from their wedding invitation and combined them with the bold colours of the sunflowers, to make another Vertical Easel Card with a Floating Panel. I’ve been on a bit of a roll with this card fold lately which was designed by my team leader and lovely friend, Lou Kitzelman.

I applied Bumblebee Ink to the large sunflower stamp and the centre of the flower was ‘inked up’ with an Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker. The image was then stamped onto a piece of Thick Basic White Cardstock and coloured in with Light So Saffron and Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends, then die-cut using the coordinating die.

Like what you see? All of the current products that you need to make this card are available to purchase through my on-line store (Australian Residents). Just click on any of the product links below to take you there –

  1. Hi Bronwyn (and Lou)! Thank you so very much for this tutorial!! I love your versions of the card and I used it to make a modified version (I made the card a 14x14cm square card) for my mother-in-law’s 90th birthday. I made it large enough for all the large family to sign it and my MIL loved it!! I use Hand-Penned Petals stamp, paper and dies for the decorations. I can send you some photos if you’re interested.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave some comment love. I read and appreciate each one. Thanks for visiting addINKtive designs.
