Hi there and welcome to AddINKtive Designs. Today I have a super fun card to share with you that was inspired by our Guest Designer, Vy Tran from Crafting Daily Dose for this month’s release of The Dimensionals Tutorial Bundle. The theme for the February Bundle is ‘Love is in the Air’.
Vy made a cute pop-up slider card using products from the Snailed It Bundle and I couldn’t wait to try it out. I seriously must be the only SU Demo that doesn’t have that bundle; it’s super cute but as much as I’d like to own all the stamp sets from the Mini Catty, I need to prioritise … but I might be swayed.
The Darling Donkeys seemed like a great substitute and I needed to crack open my Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper before Sale-a-bration ends this month. I was super chuffed with the little scene that I created of the three donkeys in the strawberry patch; one mischievous donkey is attached to a slider mechanism and just can’t seem to stop eating the strawberries!
The 3D card folds that we design for The Dimensionals are super versatile and can usually be made with whatever you have in your stash. This is certainly true of Vy’s fun design.
Project Hint – I stamped the sentiment label onto a thin envelope and used DSP for the backing ‘mat’ so it would easily fold across the crease of the card.
