Caught in Crystal Technique for Colour INKspiration #90

Welcome to addinktive designs and the latest Colour INKspiration Challenge.

You can find Colour INKspiration Challenges on Facebook and there are two challenges every month (on the second and fourth Wednesdays).

Today’s fun inspiration pic was sourced from Pinterest by Lou. The challenge for #CI90 is to make a paper craft project using the chosen colour combination, Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Coastal Cabana and Pretty Peacock; you may also add Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand, Basic Black and metallics to your project. We also allow ‘Ivory’ and ‘Bronze’ in the Stampin’ Blends. If you don’t have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest SU substitute (ie: Blushing Bride instead of Petal Pink).

The challenge was launched on Wednesday and I’m a tad late posting my project because I only made the decision to go back to the Colour INKspiration Crew a few days ago! The long story, short version, is that Stampin’ Up! ® seems to have lodged itself in my DNA and I really missed interacting with such a wonderful group of Demo friends.

I’ve had a bit of time to think about what aspects of my Stampin’ Up! business (#take3) that I will focus on in 2021. You’ll have to watch my technique video on You Tube to find out more! While you’re there I’d love you to subscribe and give me a thumbs up to help me grow my channel.

I’m a little rusty and still have my ‘L’ plates on; my nails aint pretty and I don’t have the videography gear that I need. Nevertheless, I’ve put together an instructional video for the ‘Caught in Crystal’ Technique which I first spotted on Splitcoast Stampers a few years ago; this is my version. I hope it inspires you to give it a go.

I was truly motivated to spend some time in my craft room this weekend and absolutely love the gorgeous photo/colour palette for Colour INKspiration #90.
