Hi there, welcome to addINKtive designs. I have a super cute card to share with you today that showcases the fun images from a stamp set called, ‘Back On Your Feet’.
It’s my take on a Triple Easel Card designed by the lovely, Nicole Wilson, an Independent Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrator from Western Australia.
I’ve used Mint Macaron and Garden Green for the Card Base and added panels of Mosaic Mood DSP to each of the easel sections.
The cute critters have been coloured with a variety of Stampin’ Blends and you can find all the project details at the end of this post.
This card will fold flat and fits inside a card size envelope (C6) –
Making a Paper Spring
For some interactive fun, I’ve made a paper spring for the tortoise so it wobbles a little and the punched leaf at the front, which has been raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals, acts as a stopper for the front easel section.
Cut two strips of Garden Green Card Stock about 1 cm wide. Glue the ends together in an ‘L’ shape. Fold over each strip at the corner alternating each one until length desired.
Trim off the excess strips and glue the last two sections together.
Add a Glue Dot to both ends of the paper spring and attach one end to the back of the tortoise.
Attach the other end of the paper spring to the front panel of the small easel section.
Watch the tortoise spring out and wobble when the card is opened.
Use the punched leaf as a stopper.
