A Craft Room with a View – Mae’s Cachet

Welcome to AddINKtive Designs. I’ve got something a bit different to share with you tonight; I’m sharing pics of my lovely friend, Mae Collins’ Craft Room and the project that we made the night I went to visit.

Let’s start with the jaw dropping view that you can see from Mae’s front balcony. We sat and watched the clouds float by and listened to the sound of the waves crashing onto the beach at Dodges Ferry, while we chatted and ate pizza for tea.

It wasn’t too difficult to pull myself away from the balcony as I knew that Mae’s craft room also faced towards the beach and she was keen to get to her ‘happy place’ and create, as was I.

Wow! It was fun to be inside another Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrator’s craft room to see how she displays her cards and stores her supplies. I was like a ‘kid in a candy shop’ and to top it off, Mae had cut a kit for me so I could make one of her Honey Bee cards – this one was CASED from the lovely, Jan Clothier.

It was so relaxing to sit and follow someone else’s instructions and I used a ‘brayer’ – it’s not a tool I use that often but the Rich Razzleberry Ink on the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper looked amazing! Thanks, Jan … we loved your gorgeous design.

Well that’s a wrap for tonight’s post. Thanks for visiting my blog.

  1. Thanks for coming and finally visiting my craft room Bron, it was so great to chat and stamp with you, and of course share my beautiful view. Thanks again Jan Clothier for a great card design, I loved making it, and sharing it with Bron. Let’s not make it so long between your next visit, although it may be, with your ventures with Brett and your motor home. xx

  2. Wow! Love the beautiful view. The card is stunning. Love it! Thanks, Mae, for giving us a tour of your lovely craft space. Enjoy your day!
