The Stamp Review Crew – Country Home

Welcome to addINKtive designs and the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop. The SRC are a group of International Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who love to show you lots of creative ways to use your stamps and this week we are featuring the Country Home Stamp Set from the brand new Holiday Catalogue.

Country Home is a fun set to colour and this time around I have used Stampin’ Blends to colour the beautiful stamped images for a Bridge Fold Card. The square window in the back panel is covered with the Chicken Wire Elements and the main card panels feature the gorgeous Country Lane Designer Series Paper.

For extra depth, a ‘box card’ insert was added to the middle section of the card.

The foliage in the back jug was cut down so the window area wouldn’t be entirely covered.

Last week I made a U-Fold Card from the Stitched Labels Framelits that featured the Country Home Stamp Set for the latest Colour INKspiration Challenge. I used Watercolor Pencils blended with the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

I had a few other ideas for this set but we’ve just come back from a relaxing holiday in Palm Cove in North Queensland, so there hasn’t been much time to stamp. It was lovely to have a break, experience some warm weather, swim, shop and enjoy dining out every night with views of the beach.  At least after this holiday I didn’t have to return to ‘work’. Here’s some pics of our time away –

Palm Cove is one of our favourite holiday destinations. You might see some ‘beach’ inspired cards very soon! Okay, back to the blog hop …

Up next is my lovely friend, Lou Kitzelman
