Hello and welcome to my blog. Hubby and I have just returned from a ten week road trip through Victoria and South Australia.
I took a complete break from card making to be ‘present in every moment’, to enjoy the scenery, the RV lifestyle and reassess my priorities. I did take my knitting and some books to read for those ‘rest’ days along the journey but we were on the move a lot and walking became a new passion of mine (so many hiking trails to explore along the way). Needless to say, I did shed a few kilos and am feeling much healthier than I did when we set off.
I have ordered some new Stampin’ Up! ® products and have already had a little play with some of my pre-order goodies (more about that in the next post) but I’ll be taking another ‘step back from the ‘business’ side of things to enjoy the creative process a bit more. Personally, I don’t care if a product or a colour has retired, if it’s SU or not … I’ll be sharing a mix of things and becoming more of a ‘Hybrid Demo’ (“A hybrid is a mixture of two different things, resulting in something that has a little bit of both”). Of course, while I remain a demo (not thinking of resigning any time soon), my card tutorials will only contain current Stampin’ Up! ® products as per company guidelines.
There are other exciting things in the pipe-line so I hope you’ll stick around to check out what I’m ‘up to’. In the meantime, I’ll leave you with a few pics of our epic road trip.

Thanks for stopping by,
Bronwyn, I’m so happy you could take this time to enjoy the gorgeous scenery and hiking trails and to recharge. I totally agree, be creative in the way that best suits you. Thanks for all of the creativity you share, SU products or otherwise! Greetings from Germany!
Thanks so much, Alicia.
What a great time you’ve had. Super pictures….
When it comes to learning something new… Jacobs Creek was my late husband’s favourite wine, didn’t know it was Australian.
Thanks for sharing
Jacob’s Creek is certainly a very popular label and is made in the Barossa Valley. 😁 We camped near the actual creek (on a farm stay found through Hipcamp), not on the winery estate, which is just down the road.
Sounds & looks like such an amazing trip, refreshing your soul along the way. So happy for you! Thank you for sharing some thoughts, your wonderful photos & a bit of yourself. Your work is so beautiful & fun, whether it is with SU! products or not. Thank you.
Thanks so much, Lou. 😁
