Prized Peony Vertical Easel Card for Colour INKspiration #120

Hi there and welcome to my blog; today I’m sharing a Vertical Easel Card with a Floating Panel for Colour INKspiration Challenge #120.

You can find Colour INKspiration Challenges on Facebook and there are two challenges every month (on the second and fourth Wednesdays).

The challenge for CI#120 is to make a paper craft project using all the colours from the chosen colour combination, Polished Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Just Jade & Misty Moonlight; you may also add Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Basic White, Very Vanilla, Basic Black and Metallics to your project. We also allow ‘Ivory’ and ‘Bronze’ in the Stampin’ Blends. If you don’t have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest SU substitute (ie: Magenta Madness instead of Polished Pink).

I’m on a mission to make sure I use some of my favourite stamp sets and dies again before they ‘retire’ on May 2nd; Prized Peony is one of those sets on the Last Chance List (Sniff). However, it will be staying on my craft shelf for future use because I definitely won’t be parting with it.

It’s rare that I have a Sympathy Card in my stash so I decided to make one to have on hand.

My lovely team leader and friend, Lou Kitzelman, designed this card fold and I LOVE the mechanics of it. The central elements of this Vertical Easel Card pop out on a ‘floating panel’ and it has an internal card made from Designer Series Paper to add to the uniqueness of the design.
