Hi there. I have some exciting news! I blew the dust off my very neglected You Tube Channel and made my first instructional video in four years.
If you know me well enough you will know that this is kind of a big deal as I “don’t do video tutorials”. My ‘thing’ is writing and publishing card tutorials – the income from those actually help with the costs of running a website, owning a domain name, web security, buying supplies etc. I’ll still keep publishing my card tutorials as that is my first ❤️ when it comes to paper crafting. To keep the ‘joy’ alive, you just need to be yourself, do what makes you happy and never think you have to be someone you’re not. After all, “Comparison is the thief of joy”.
Well … I always saw Video Tutorials as ‘not my thing’. However, doing an On Stage Live Presentation in Auckland, New Zealand this year, helped me ‘get over myself’ and gave me the confidence I needed to spread my wings and explore the possibility of Facebook Lives and You Tube Videos. Our wonderful DDM, Clare Langsford, was a great coach for On Stage and the experience stretched me way beyond my comfort zone.
So here goes peeps. BE KIND and enjoy watching my tutorial on how to make a Z-Fold Card with Gift Card Holder using the Frosted Foliage Stamp Set, Frosted Frames and Snow Globe Scenes Dies – my favourite products from the ‘soon to be released’ Holiday Catalogue (September 4th).
A PDF containing all the supplies and card measurements in both Metric (A4) and Imperial (Letter Size) can be dowloaded here –
Well done Bronwyn came across well xx
Thanks, Sue.
What a beautiful card! I can’t wait to buy some of that paper. Lucky you living in Tasmania. My husband and I visited in February and wished we had been able to stay longer. Next time! 😊
Thanks, Christine. I’m a bit biased but I love my home state of Tassie. Beautiful scenery, National Parks, clean air and fresh water.
Such a beautiful card Bronwyn. I am so glad you have revived your You Tube channel. Your instructions were so clear and you didn’t waste any time – just straight on with the project. Your a natural!
Oh, thanks so much for the vote of confidence, Tracey. Means a lot.
Just found you on my FB page…fell in love with this beautiful card..can’t wait to make it. You did a great job with your video, I agree with the previous comment from Tracy about getting straight to it…no wasted time and great instructions! Can’t wait to see future tutorials from you. Thanks! 🙂
Thanks so much, Laurie.
Love your card and I love your video. As everybody before me said, great instructions. I can’t wait to see more. I will become one of your stalkers lol 🙂
