A Faux Leather Tote for Colour INKspiration #74

Welcome to addinktive designs and the latest Colour INKspiration Challenge.

You can find Colour INKspiration Challenges on Facebook and there are two challenges every month (on the second and fourth Wednesdays).

Today’s inspiration pic was taken by CI Crew Member, Simone Bartrum, when she was on a Stampin’ Up! ® Incentive Trip – “This photo was taken on the stunning island of Mykonos. With classic whitewashed buildings, mazes of charming streets and awesome shopping, it was one of our favourite ports on the 2019 Greek Isles Incentive Trip.”

The challenge for #CI74 is to make a paper craft project using the chosen colour combination, Night of Navy, Whisper White, Basic Gray and Mango Melody; you may also add Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Basic Black and metallics to your project. We also allow ‘Ivory’ and ‘Bronze’ in the Stampin’ Blends. If you don’t have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest SU substitute (ie: Smoky Slate instead of Basic Gray … you get the drift).

I’m on a bit of a roll with these cute totes made with the ‘All Dressed Up Dies’. The Stone 3D Embossing Folder from the Power of Hope SAB Bundle makes the card stock look like faux leather especially on the Shimmery White.

The addition of the punched flower on the front pocket was a good way to add a bright pop of colour with some ‘Mango Melody’.

These totes are a tad addictive and the colour challenge was a great excuse to make another one. I hope you love the inspiration pic as much as I do. The cobblestones inspired me to use the gorgeous Stone 3D Embossing Folder; my current favourite.

Even though the Crew are from the South Pacific Region, the challenge is an international one; so if you love all things Stampin’ Up! ®, please feel free to play along. You don’t need a blog to enter. Click on the badge below to take you to our Facebook group –
