Hi there. I’m back again with some pics of my trip to Florida; today I’m sharing some of the highlights from our day at Universal Studios.
You’ll be pleased to know that I plan to venture back into my craft room today. I was totally ‘whacked’ when I returned home last Friday, had a nasty head cold and then our daughter moved out of home on Monday and we’ve made two trips so far with some of her stuff. It’s a good thing that she has found a place in the city to share with a friend but the ’empty nest’ syndrome is starting to ‘hit’. I sure will miss her.
On day three in Orlando, we headed to Universal Studios. We had a park to park pass so we could ride the Hogwart’s Express to the Islands of Adventure and visit the other section of Harry Potter World. I’m not a fan of Harry Potter at all but my travelling companions were. I was more interested in checking out Jurassic Park!

Our day at Universal Studios did not disappoint. It was a warm humid day and we had to dodge a few raindrops but it didn’t dampen our enthusiasm. The parks were not overly crowded except in the Harry Potter Sections and I was on a mission to find the perfect Jurassic Park T Shirt for my grown up son.
