During the first half of the year I enjoyed playing with products from a variety of paper crafting companies – Paper Rose Studio, Stampin’ Up!, Spellbinders and Mintay just to name a few.
In March I launched the Funky Folds Blog Hops with a group of like-minded paper crafters who enjoy making cards with fun folds. The next cycle starts again in March 2025.
After a much anticipated holiday to Singapore, the UK and Ireland I wasn’t sure if I would even get back into blogging on my return home. My passion for knitting took over and ‘Daphne Knits’ was born.
In October, my lovely friend, Lynne taught me how to make mini albums and folios and introduced me to some pretty papers from Stamperia. Along with my growing interest in the gorgeous paper collections from Paper Rose Studio, my love for paper crafting was rekindled. I joined Creative Memories as an Advisor in the same month mainly to access their amazing tools for a discounted price.
November was by far the most exciting month; I was invited to be a Guest Designer for Paper Rose Studio for 2025 but a couple of my ‘Woodland Christmas’ Cards caught their eye so I began that ‘gig’ a couple of months earlier than anticipated. My official role starts in January and I can’t wait to share some projects with you that will feature a brand new paper collection and embossed die-cuts!
I thought I’d better ‘dust the cobwebs off’ my You Tube Channel once again in preparation for my new role as a Guest Designer and recently managed to put out four new instructional videos.
This year has certainly ended on a much more positive note than it began as I was really struggling to find my ‘niche’ outside of Stampin’ Up! … I’ve now well and truly moved on and couldn’t be happier. Bring on 2025!
