Mintay Flowery Card Challenge with Vacation 6×6 Papers and Paper Die-Cuts

Hi there. Welcome to my blog. Today I’m sharing a card that I made especially for the #MintayFloweryCardChallenge. 

I recently joined the Mintay Papers Inspo Place on Facebook and was excited to discover that they hold Monthly Papercraft Challenges. #𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞

My love of orchids and roses is what drew me to the Mintay Vacation 6×6 Papers and Die-cuts and so it was only appropriate that I should feature this lovely collection on my card.

I’m on a bit of a roll with making Gatefold Box Cards with a 3D Window and if you’re interested you can check out my original CARD TUTORIAL HERE.

Instead of using a metal die to cut out a window, I’ve simply used the Mintay Papers as my inspiration, choosing to ‘fussy cut’ an open doorway in a scene from one of the papers …

… and then attach lots of die-cuts for added dimension and interest.

Today’s card is based on the one I made which feature papers from the Thoughtful Journey DSP 6×6 pack (SU) –
