A Gatefold Box Card with 3D Window for Funky Folds Blog Hop #06

Welcome to our sixth Funky Folds Blog Hop.

We are a group of like minded paper crafters who love to make cards with funky folds. Funky actually means “modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way”… so we are featuring cards that are not your usual rectangle/square portrait or landscape style. Think ‘easel’, ‘pop-up’, ‘gatefold’, ‘z-fold’, ‘shaped’ or 3D cards etc. The list is endless.

All Blog Hops have an ‘anything goes’ theme using any type of ‘funky’ card fold and I’ve made another Gatefold Box Card with a 3D Window.

This one features the beautiful Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper, Cheerful Daisies Stamps and Dies with a die-cut window made with the Nested Essentials Dies from SU.

My Funky Folds Card is based on the one I made a few days ago which feature papers from the Thoughtful Journey DSP 6×6 pack –

For those that are interested in seeing a small sample of my recent travel pics, here’s the third instalment. These photos highlight the beginning of a three week bus trip that we took around the UK and Ireland. We journeyed to Stonehenge, Glastonbury and Plymouth, visited the seaside villages of Polperro and Looe, dined in a very old pub in the County of Devon and then ventured onward to Bath.
