Hello and welcome to my blog. I’ve got something rather fun to share with you tonight! I’m introducing a Blog Hop for paper crafters who love to make cards with fun/fancy folds. It’s a way of ‘building community’ with like minded card makers around the globe. Let me introduce you to the Funky Folds Blog Hop –
www.facebook.com/groups/funkyfoldsbloghops/
It’s a community for like minded paper crafters who love to make cards with funky folds and are keen to participate in monthly blog hops. Funky actually means “modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way”… in other words, cards that are not your usual rectangle/square portrait or landscape style. Think ‘easel’, ‘pop-up’, ‘gatefold’, ‘z-fold’, ‘tri-fold’, ‘shaped’ cards etc. etc. The list is endless.
All Blog Hops will have an ‘anything goes’ theme using any type of ‘funky’ card fold and will kick off on the 7th day of each month at 7pm (AEDT), launching on the 7th March, 2024. Feel free to join in when you can; it is certainly not a requirement to sign up every month!!
However, it is necessary that you have your own blog, that you know how to schedule posts, provide a URL and link up to the blog that is directly after you on the participation list. Linking to projects that are published before the scheduled day/time is not permitted. In other words, your participation requires a card made especially for the current blog hop.
You can invite your card making friends to the group but make sure you let them know that they’ll be required to answer some questions before gaining access.
Feel free to post your creations on other social media sites and galleries such as Instagram with the hashtags #funkyfolds #funkyfoldsbloghops – However, please note that the group exists for the purpose of organising BLOG HOPS and not INSTA hops.
If you think this is something that you’d like to participate in, you can join the Facebook Group at –

Looking forward to ‘seeing you’ there,
