Hi and welcome to AddINKtive Designs. Today’s post ‘heralds in’ a new season for me …
I’m back writing card tutorials but I’m no longer a Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrator. I resigned (pretty sure it’s for good this time) to enable me to diversify my craft business. More on that topic later.
On my ‘way out’ I put in a small order to get a hold of some gorgeous papers called Meandering Meadows, 6×6 DSP and the Garden Meadow Bundle (stamps and dies). They are on-line exclusives and will be available to purchase next month (November 2023). If you’ve been a customer of mine or you’re looking for a Demonstrator in Australia, I’d highly recommend my former, team leader and lovely friend, Lou for your purchases. Yesterday, I created 9 card bases that showcase all 12 scenes from the pack of Meandering Meadows DSP. Among the different designs, I created a brand new card fold!
My intention was to publish a mega tutorial bundle incorporating all 9 card designs. However, the window card that I’m sharing today is a very simple design and it didn’t really ‘fit in’ with the other ones that I’d started; so I decided to offer this one as a stand alone, FREE TUTORIAL. I’m not sure how I’ll publish the rest … give me a week or two to see how things ‘unfold’.
So what will ‘diversifying my craft business’ look like? Well, for starters I’ll be using a variety of paper crafting products in my card tutorials (Some will still feature only SU products like today’s example).
I also love to knit and have created a couple of knitting patterns (more to follow) that I hope to publish on my website very soon. My INSTA handle and Facebook Page have undergone a name change to Bronwyn Eastley Designs to more accurately reflect the direction that I’m heading in.
New adventures ahead … Thanks for stopping by,
Glad your gallbladder surg went well. My husband spent most of the summer & into Fall recovering from his emergency surg for same with a drain placed plus later a stent in the common bile duct & infection after removal of the drain. If it hadn’t been for such a talented & caring surgeon, I’m not sure he would have survived.
As for your knitting, my mother was an expert knitter. We used to say she could knit with her hands behind her back while carrying on a conversation! We all have many things she knitted for us through the years & cherish them. She also knitted for our local Social Services folks who served families in need. Hats, sweaters, mittens & untold numerous baby outfits were donated to help those families. I wish you well in the process.
Thanks so much for your kind words and sharing some insight into your family’s history. I’ve been knitting since I was 4 so am enjoying this new little venture of designing some knitting patterns (just starting off with some easy projects).
Gorgeous card! Will be following your crafty journey with interest!
Thanks, Deborah.
