Hi and welcome to my blog … I’m back after being MIA for most of the last two months; Among a lot of other things going on in this journey called life, I had to have my gall bladder removed a couple of weeks ago. Thankfully, everything went well and I’m making a good recovery.
My mojo for card making is slowly returning which is just as well because I needed to make a couple of Thank You Cards for our church Ladies Spring Retreat Day – one for the Guest Speaker and one for the Host.
I decided to use the retired New Horizon Designer Series Paper for the background scenes on my Double Z-Fold Box Cards.
A mixture of current and retired SU stamps and dies (see categories at top of blog post) and Martha Stewart punches were used to create the 3D scene on each card.
The little Fairywrens Sticker Sheet (Superb Fairywren Stickers, PIGMENT, Monica Reeve) was purchased from a shop called Reliquaire in Latrobe, Tasmania. I couldn’t resist as they are my favourite little birds that inhabit this beautiful island state of ours and these stickers make a great addition to my paper crafting stash.
The Double Z-Fold Box Card is one of my original card fold designs. Have you made one yet? I have quite a few tutorials in my SHOP that showcase this fold. The latest one is featured below –
Thanks so much for stopping by,
