A Triple Butterfly Easel Card for Colour INKspiration #100

Welcome to my blog; today I’m sharing a Triple Butterfly Easel Card for the latest challenge at Colour INKspiration Challenges. It’s a milestone challenge today – it’s our 100th (and we’re giving away prizes) – I created and officially launched Colour INKspiration Challenges on January 11th, 2017 and I’m so proud of such an awesome crew who inspire us with their gorgeous projects on a bi-monthly basis. They have become my Stampin’ Up! ® family and I’m so grateful to Lou Kitzelman who took on the role of coordinator for Colour INKspiration, in order to free me up from DT responsibilities, so hubby and I could really enjoy our travels in the RV.

You can find Colour INKspiration Challenges on Facebook and there are two challenges every month (on the second and fourth Wednesdays).

The challenge for CI#100 is to make a paper craft project using all the colours from the chosen colour combination, Gorgeous Grape, Magenta Madness and Bermuda Bay; you may also add Basic White, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Sahara Sand and Metallics to your project. We also allow ‘Ivory’ and ‘Bronze’ in the Stampin’ Blends. If you don’t have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest SU substitute (ie: Melon Mambo instead of Magenta Madness).

I found this inspiration pic for our 100th Challenge and it’s pretty special because it’s an advertisement for Bridestowe Lavender Farm in Tasmania (my home state). From memory, I’ve visited this beautiful place at least three times when the lavender has been in full bloom.

The colours are bright and bold and I chose to make them really ‘pop’ against a white background on my card.

A couple of months ago I made a few butterfly easel cards with the Brilliant Wings Dies using a variety of bright colours and kept three aside especially for this challenge.
