Hi and welcome to AddINKtive Designs. I have a fun fold card to share with you that was designed by Lou Kitzelman especially for the The Dimensionals, February 2020, Sale-a-bration, Tutorial Bundle. It combines the elements of a free standing pop-up card (some call it a ‘Trophy’ Card) with an easel section.
Lou has called it a Pop-Up, Adapted Easel Card and it was so much fun to make. Her instructions made it pretty easy to put together as well.
I changed the colour combo slightly and used the 3D Stone Embossing Folder for my base so it looks like the cake is sitting on a granite bench top. Lou used the matching dies for the SAB ‘Happy Birthday’ Stamps (limited time product coordination release) but sadly I don’t own them yet and had to fussy cut all my images. I used some Silver Foil leaves cut from the Garden Gateway Dies to pop behind the cake and added some Champagne Rhinestones to the flower centres.
It’s a goal of mine to replicate all four designs in the bundle. I’ve already CASED my 3D Z-Fold Card with the extra base, Nicole’s Slider Card, now Lou’s Pop-Up, Adapted Easel Card and Sharni’s Mini Album is next on my list. Have you purchased or earned our bundle yet?
