Welcome to AddINKtive Designs. Today I have a fun card to share with you made from a Braided Border Punch. It’s reminiscent of a card design that was popular in 2012 that was made using the now retired, Lace Ribbon Border Punch.
There’s a new Mini Catalogue being launched next month and on page 29 the Braided Border Punch makes its debut. It’s perfect to replicate the ‘old’ card design.
I’ve embellished my card with stamps and die cuts from the soon to be released, Timeless Tropical Bundle.
The front panels have been covered with some Tropical Oasis DSP and some Mini Braided Burlap Trim was woven through the punched Braided Border. The frangipanis and hibiscus were coloured with Watercolor Pencils and blended with a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush (on Shimmery White Card Stock). There are quite a few new items on this card to look forward to in the new Mini Catalogue. As a Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrator I was able to order some new products this month and today was the first chance I’ve had to play with my pre-order. I’m looking forward to sharing lots more ideas wth you over the coming weeks using some of my favourite bundles.
