This week I held two stamp classes that centred around the ‘Cuckoo For You’ Bundle (page 29 of the Stampin’ Up! ® Catalogue).
Last night my lovely friend, Anne, joined me in my craft room and we had an enjoyable time chatting and crafting – “Time spent with friends is time well spent”. She did a beautiful job with her projects –
As Anne was the only attendee out of the four that assured me they were coming along, I had the time (and the pre-prepared kits) to craft alongside her and make another one of each card design.
The background embossed Pinewood Planks were left as is this time around (no sponged white ink over the woodgrain) and I added a pop of Flirty Flamingo with a stitched circle behind the Cuckoo Clock.
My friend Lynne had stamped the daisies in Seaside Spray the day before and I thought they looked so pretty, so I switched the colour scheme just slightly for my second butterfly card.
To avoid repeating the basic information, you can check out all the project details from the previous post here – http://addinktivedesigns.com/2019/07/18/july-stamp-class-interactive-butterfly-card-with-cuckoo-clock-die/
Thanks for stopping by,
Love your cards. Just ordered the cuckoo set earlier this week.
Thanks, Michele. They are lots of fun to play with. I love interactive Cards.
Looks like you and Anne had a lovely time. Great cards.
Ps real pain when people pull out at the last minute when you’ve done all the prep work
Tell me about it!
Great cards. I love the daisy one. Daisies are one of my favorite flowers. Enjoy your day!
Thanks, Hilda. I’m quite partial to daisies myself.
