Hi there and welcome to addINKtive designs.
I’ve been taking a little break over January; haven’t done much stamping but I have spent quite a few days sorting out my craft room and ‘de-stashing’ a lot of retired stamps and accessories.
The latest inspiration challenge at TGIF Challenges – #TGIFC195 lured me back to my craft desk as it’s all about Disney and looking to our favourite characters to inspire us. After visiting three Disney Parks last November, I just couldn’t resist joining in.
Mickey Mouse is definitely my favourite Disney Character and this little guy travelled all the way back home with me from Magic Kingdom, Orlando Florida to Australia; he now has pride of place in my craft room!
I recently discovered a stamp set called Park Cuties from Kindred Stamps and this challenge was a good excuse to ink up one of the images, along with some sentiments to make a z-fold card for #TGIFC195.
A used page from a Disney Souvenir Calendar made a great background for my card and the sentiments were heat embossed with White Embossing Powder onto Basic Black Card Stock. The girl image was coloured with SU Stampin’ Blends (Ivory, Black, Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake and Smoky Slate) and the ‘ears’ were painted with Clear Wink of Stella for some extra sparkle.
Thanks for dropping in!
OMG, so adorable!!
What a fantastic idea using the calendar page! Thank you for joining us at TGIF!
