Hi there. I’m back from a short blogging break to share something a little bit different – well the card fold isn’t different but I have used a cute new die that arrived by post only yesterday.
I just couldn’t resist buying this Motorhome Die from Cottage Cutz and made some time this afternoon to give it a test run. Hubby and I are doing some serious research in the hope of purchasing a Motorhome in the not too distant future. I may be paper crafting ‘on the road’ one day. We’ll see what our visit to the upcoming Victorian Caravan, Camping and Touring Super Show brings. So you can understand why I needed this in my craft stash!
Speaking of craft ‘stash’, I’ve been doing some serious de-stashing of late and am also on a mission to use what I LOVE whether it’s current stock or not, Stampin’ Up! ® or not!
After On Stage in Orlando, I’d reached ‘saturation point’ and made a decision to be more frugal and get a lot more ‘mileage’ out of my stamps and dies etc. I took a ‘slogging’ break to take time to reflect and reassess the situation – I’m still trying to figure it all out. What I am certain of is –
“I just wanna make pretty things and share them”.
For my Motorhome Z-Fold Card I used some Kaiser Craft 6×6 papers called Summer Splash and an Open Road Die from My Favourite Things. The card stock base is Stampin’ Up’s Pool Party and the Motorhome has been coloured with Stampin’ Blends (SU).
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Love your card; love the theme! We lucked into a Thor Hurricane 30A last year two days before a planned trip to the Canadian Rockies. We were “tenters” before that. We drove this huge behemoth across country and it was thrilling! Best of luck in your search!

Love your fun card! I’m so happy to see you using some other brands! Good luck in your RV search! We have a 30 ft. 5th wheel, and we are also thinking of going this direction! Keep us posted on what you find 🙂
Bronwyn, Love the card! Good luck finding the perfect motor home for you and your hubby. Thanks for sharing your feelings about stamping & creating. I’ve collected too much & have not used all I have collected. I’m in a serious need of using what I have and de-stashing. Thanks for your insights. Maureen
Saturation point. Yes. That’s what it is! I’m there, too- it doesn’t mean I love this any less, just that my goodness I am overwhelmed and it is actually making me do less! Not the idea I was going for! This is a sweet card and I wish you luck on your motor home hunt!
A fab card.
Best of luck on planning for your journey. Others have done the motor home (and some with less) travelling so as I’m sure you know it can be done. A couple that come to mind are Therese at lostinpaper and Judy Jung at Runs with scissors. Another that is at saturation point, however there is always some image or theme I don’t have in my stash! Perhaps I really am not quiet there – although I’m sure the family would disagree 🙂 Happy to see you use all your stash whether it is SU or not. I know I need to show more of my stash some love.
