Hi there! Just popping in to share the fourth lot of organised SWAPS that I am participating in for On Stage Live in Orlando (Group #4 – Old Olive) where I opted to make Z-Fold Box Cards.
A stack of Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper was the starting point for my colour selection and once again, a good way to mix it up a bit as I really don’t enjoy making multiple cards that are exactly the same.
But … Oh my goodness! What was I thinking when I started the production line for these swaps? These little suckers took me three full days to make!
But they were totally worth the effort!
Here’s my favourite one of the eleven that I made which has a combo of Highland Heather and So Saffron –
I had used a fair bit of this DSP already for a stamp class (Coincidentally it was for baby crib cards) so colour choices were less … sniff … no Pool Party. Anyhow, I managed to make every card a little different. Have you got a favourite?
The construction of the crib for each card took the most amount of work but I loved inking up the Stamp Set, Little Elephant for the first time and seeing each card ‘come together’.
When I return from Orlando, I’ll share pics of the 40 Fancy Fold Cards that I received from the four organised swap groups. I can’t wait to see the variety of ideas/card folds from other demos.
You can purchase the basic tutorial that I followed to make these cards here –
I’ve also added an extra project sheet for this ‘Little Elephant Design’ and the one I made using the Animal Expedition DSP.
Happy stamping,
