Welcome to addinktive designs and a brand new Colour INKspiration Challenge and CI Crew Blog Hop. You can find Colour INKspiration Challenges on Facebook and there are two challenges every month. Join us on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays for a brand new colour palette. As there are five Wednesdays in August, #CI40 will run until 7pm (AEST – Melbourne Time), Monday, 10th September, 2018. That’s almost three weeks! Plenty of time to play along.
Monique chose the inspiration pic for our latest challenge; the combo is absolutely gorgeous and the crew have gone all out to showcase this beautiful colour palette.
I was on a bit of a roll with cutting card stock for box cards for my recent stamp class and decided to cut an extra card base for the CI40 Challenge. My new stamp set, Floral Frames and the coordinating Foliage Frame Dies were in need of a workout and they did not disappoint – ❤️ Oh wow! The leafy dies are just gorgeous.
I’m pretty certain that the Floral Frames will become one of my favourite bundles over the coming year.
To make this cute box card, I followed a tutorial by Amanda Bates, a Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrator from the UK. You can view the instructions on her blog, HERE (I made mine an inch taller).
Thanks for visiting the Colour INKspiration Blog Hop.
Up next is the lovely Jacque Williams from New Zealand –
Even though the Crew are from the South Pacific Region, the challenge is an international one; so if you love all things Stampin’ Up! ®, please feel free to join in. You don’t need a blog to enter. Click on the badge below to take you to our Facebook page –

Oh wow. These floral frames are totally gorgeous with the box card. What a brilliant pairing. Stunning card. I love the wood textures for the card base too. You’ve inspired me to get creating box cards again!!!
So adorable Bron and yep that foliage is just divine!
Will you be making a tutorial for sale for this flower box?
Hi Tammy. I followed a tutorial by Amanda Bates to make the box card base using the Gift Bag Punch Board. I will put the link in the post.
Beautiful Bron! Love the woodgrain and the balance of the colours…So pretty! xx
A beautiful box card, Bronwyn. The Wood Textures DSP is perfect with this rounds colour combination. D xox
