The Holiday Catalogue is almost here and a couple of weeks ago our lovely Australian DDM (Demonstrator Development Manager), Clare Langsford and a local demo, Kim Oliver, spent a Saturday evening in my craft room playing with some pre-order goodies.
We were all so tired after a Stampin’ Up! ® Event for Tassie Demonstrators that ‘free play’ with all the new stuff seemed a bit overwhelming! So I guided them through each step to make a Z-Fold, Box Card with some stamps, dies and DSP from the Festive Farmhouse Suite.
I finally got around to finishing off my card and writing a tutorial for it. It’s been a bit of a crazy fortnight with organising the state get together for Tasmanian SU Demonstrators, registering for On Stage in Orlando, Stamp Classes, hubby’s farewell work dinner on the weekend, a movie night with friends, booking my NZ flights for On Stage in 2019 … and I started doing a bit of relief teaching as well. Phew! ‘Retirement’ is not dull.

Each card varied slightly but we all agreed on adding a strip of the Festive Farmhouse DSP to the top and bottom of the card base (inspiration from the Holiday Catty). This is my finished card –
I must admit, I bought this suite mainly for that gorgeous fence die but have now fallen in love with all the cute images as well. They are a lot of fun to colour with the Stampin’ Blends.
If you’re looking for an idea for your upcoming, Christmas Themed Stamp Classes, I’ve published a tutorial for this Fun Fold –
Happy Stamping!
Another beautiful work of art! Everything you make is just wonderful!
Thanks, Tammy.
Sounds like a fun afternoon. Great card.
