Hi there. This is the last instalment of projects from my recent Gift Bag, Punch Board Class. I only expected the ladies to construct the card (box) base and then embellish it with the stamps of their choice when they got home. Just in case anyone zipped through the first two projects and had time to finish their box card, I used the beautiful Falling Flowers Stamps and coordinating May Flowers Framelits as a display sample to copy.
To make this cute box card, I followed a tutorial by Amanda Bates, a Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrator from the UK. You can view the instructions on her blog, HERE.
I made my card an inch taller so adjusted the measurements to allow for the extra height. It still fits inside a standard, card size (C6) envelope.
Adjusted Measurements –
Card Base – 8-3/4″ x 4-1/4″, Card Inserts – 3″x3” (Cut 1″ strips instead of 1/2″),
DSP – 5-5/8″ x 4-3/8″ (Score at 1-7/8″ and 3-3/4″), After punching top sections, line up on the trimmer at 3-1/4″ and cut and again at 2-3/4” and trim off thin strip.
Here’s one I made earlier with the Beautiful Bouquet Stamps so you can compare it to the Falling Flowers sample –
