Welcome to addinktive designs and a brand new Colour INKspiration Challenge and CI Crew Blog Hop. You can find Colour INKspiration Challenges on Facebook and there are two challenges every month. Join us on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month for a brand new colour palette. #CI36 will run until 7pm (AEST – Melbourne Time), Monday, 9th July, 2018.
I chose this inspiration pic for our latest challenge; the colour palette is a little tricky but I did manage to come up with a project after much procrastination.
As well as the chosen colour combination, you can also add Basics such as Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Whisper White and metallics to your project.
I’ve had this idea for a card fold for a while but couldn’t find any current or retired DSP that would suit where I was going with the design, so opted to do some extra embossing and stamping.
It’s a combination of a gate fold and pocket card and needs a bit of tweaking before I would consider writing a tutorial for this type of fold. I know I’m my own worse critic but I wasn’t thrilled with how it turned out but what I do LOVE is the combination of the two sets of dies, Botanical Tags and Stitched Labels – my two current faves for sure.
Thanks for visiting the hop.
Up next is Kelly Kent from WA who found this colour combo a bit of a challenge as well –
So what’s a challenge without a bit of a challenge? I dare you to join us!
Even though the Crew are from the South Pacific Region, the challenge is an international one; so if you love all things Stampin’ Up! ®, please feel free to join in. You don’t need a blog to enter. Click on the badge below to take you to our Facebook page –

I run out of unique adjectives when I comment on your blog each fortnight Bron – your projects are AH-MAY-ZING and this one is too!!! Kelly x
Well, Bronwyn, if you chose the palette and then had challenges, I don’t feel so badly about struggling!! Your combination and all the details you added netted a gorgeous result.
Beautiful card Bronwyn, I love the contrast of the Crushed Curry flowers against the Basic Grey.
I adore how you have used the embossing die to create interest on the foreground Bronwyn. The details of the pocket inside and how this gorgeous creation all fold up so neatly always amaze me.
