May Stamp Class – ‘Love What You Do’ Pocket Card

Yay! June 1st is the official launch day for the new Stampin’ Up! ® Annual Catalogue. I’ll be putting in an order tomorrow for customers and for some of the products on my Wish List and have lots of ideas brewing for new tutorials over the coming months; make sure you subscribe to my blog so you don’t miss a post!

The card on the right is the design that I decided to go with for my stamp classes which were held on Wednesday. I wrote a full set of instructions for the first card (The design is a tweak of Jackie Aitken’s Petal Palette Pocket Card) and decided at 12:30am in the wee hours of that morning, to modify it slightly to reduce the prep time. Basically, I just skipped a layer on the belly band and die cut some stitched labels as I ran out of the ones in the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit.

My stamp class ladies love it when we make cards with ‘fancy folds’. They have plenty of time to make a card, have a cuppa, browse through the latest catalogue and have a chat. I even do a bit of latte art (cough, cough … stencil art) for their hot drinks!
