Welcome to addinktive designs and a brand new Colour INKspiration Challenge and CI Crew Blog Hop. You can find Colour INKspiration Challenges on Facebook and there are two challenges every month. Join us on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month for a brand new colour palette. #CI33 will run until 7pm (AEST – Melbourne Time), Monday 21st May, 2018.
Tricia Raineri chose this gorgeous inspiration pic for our latest challenge and with the big colour revamp happening in June, we’ll be saying goodbye to two of the colours in the palette – Marina Mist and Always Artichoke. As well as the chosen colour combination, you can also add other neutrals such as Basic Black, Crumb Cake and Whisper White as well as metallics to your project.
Today I’m featuring a beautiful floral card made by our Guest Designer, Ann Pugh (AKA Anxcellent Knitter). Ann doesn’t have a blog so I offered to play host so she could join in with our Colour INKspiration Crew Blog Hop.
Ann has done an amazing job with the colour palette using the beautiful Falling Flowers Stamps and coordinating May Flower Framelits. I love the stamping on the vellum to soften the cluster of flowers against the bold, navy background.
I was hoping to get a card made for the Hop but ran out of time. My Mother’s Day Card took priority and I’m waiting for some new goodies to arrive so I can finish it off. I might pop back later with a project as I have the idea in my head but being on call for Jury Duty has mucked up the last three weeks. Unfortunately for me I drew the short straw the other day and have been called in to serve! My life is on hold … and the BBB is expected to arrive today or tomorrow. Aaargh … what timing!
If you’ve started the hop from here, make sure you continue on to check out the projects from the other members of the Colour INKspiration Crew. Up next on the hop is the lovely Jackie Aitken from WA –
Even though the Crew are from the South Pacific Region, the challenge is an international one; so if you love all things Stampin’ Up! ®, please feel free to join in. You don’t need a blog to enter. Click on the badge below to take you to our Facebook page –
Thanks for hopping by,
I agree with you about the vellum flowers. Ann has done an awesome job – this cluster is just perfect and so so so pretty! Stunning card. And enjoy your BBB – I hope you really get to enjoy it on the weekend!!
Well done to Ann. I love this set and she has created a beautiful bouquet – nice balance in the flowers and nice texture in the background. Hope Jury duty doesn’t take too long. we’re all keen to see what you make next
Love Ann’s card, so beautifully designed and executed. How frustrating to be kept from crafting by a court case. Hope it isn’t a long one.
A beautifully layered boquet of flowers you have put together Ann.
Bronwyn I hope jury duty isn’t too long and drawn out for you xx
A beautiful creation by Ann. And ‘Congratulations’ to Ann for her Guest Designer role. D xox
Gorgeous card Ann💕
