Hi there! This year I will be celebrating 10 years since I first joined Stampin’ Up! ® but did you know that I started sharing my cards on Splitcoast about a month before I became a demonstrator?
My friend and future up-line at the time introduced me to Splitcoast. It’s an amazing international community of paper crafters from all around the globe and there’s a SUO section loaded with ideas for every SU stamp set, past and present. I love the friendly community feel to Splitcoast and had the honour of being on the Creative Crew in 2016.
This week I woke up to some exciting news; I had been chosen as their featured stamper! #578 – The challenge is to CASE one of my cards. Here are the rules –
Keyword: FS578
HOW DO I PLAY?:
Go to the Featured Stamper’s gallery and CASE a card, following these simple CASEing Guidelines:
- Change 2 or more things on the Featured Stamper’s project. It could be a color combo, embellishments, backgrounds, or even the main image could be different — but similar because you don’t own the exact image. Please list the changes you made in your description.
-
Give credit to the original stamper and put a link to the original card in your description.
-
Please note the following regarding Sketch Challenge cards: If you are keeping the same layout but changing most everything else on the featured stamper’s card, make sure it isn’t a sketch challenge card (SC###). The reason is because it is essentially is a CASE of the sketch since it isn’t the Featured Stamper’s original idea. Please be sure to check the keywords!
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
You can find more info in the discussion thread, HERE. I’d love to see you join in – FS578 Gallery Submissions.
My Farmer’s Market, Pop-Up, Z-Fold Card was also a featured upload at Splitcoast a while back!
Make sure you check out Splitcoast for yourself and start your own gallery. The SUO community is a great resource for your business and can also draw a lot of traffic to your blog!
Congratulations. I am a member on Splitcoast stampers however I am afraid I haven’t posted anything on there for such a long time. Thanks for the reminder to take a peek.
