Hi. Welcome to addINKtive designs and a Happy New Year’s ‘Eve’ to you all. Its tradition that I finish up the year with a round up of all my favourite projects and highlight some milestones for the last twelve months.
2017 was a very eventful year – I started Colour INKspiration Challenges with a bunch of talented Australian and New Zealand Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators and we’ve had a blast making projects inspired by colour combinations from Pinterest pics!
In August I celebrated one year of blogging at addinktive designs.com after switching over from my Blogspot site. To celebrate, I created the AddINKtive Designs Team. Five creative stamping friends were initially selected to create, share and review my tutorials. I have absolutely loved seeing their creations each month and will expand the team in 2018.
On a personal note, after 33 years of teaching with the last four as a School Principal, I made the big decision to ‘retire’ at the end of this year to devote more time to my Stampin’ Up! ® Business. That will mean a big overhaul of my craft room to accommodate regular stamp classes and more time to devote to writing tutorials, attending craft markets, making and actually sending cards. My craft room will become my ‘office’ – a dream that will soon become a reality! I’m still pinching myself and am very grateful to everyone that has supported my journey thus far.
So without further ado, here’s a selection of my favourite projects for 2017. Thanks for visiting addINKtive designs –
Another highlight of this year was being selected as a Display Stamper for On Stage in Melbourne in November. It was an awesome privilege to make and display projects using some of the new products from the soon to be released, Occasions Catalogue. Thanks, Stampin’ Up! ® for the wonderful opportunity.
Congratulations on your retirement! Thanks for the walk through 2017 with your beautiful projects! I can’t wait to see what special things you have in store, now that you have more time to create!
Aaaw, thanks Patti. I am so looking forward to 2018.
Congratulations on your retirement. What a wonderful step. My one word of warning is that you will find yourself wondering how you managed to find time to work. Enjoy…it is wonderful.
Yes, so I’ve been told!! Thanks, Susan.
