Welcome to addinktive designs and our sixth Colour INKspiration Blog Hop! The CI Crew are back again to help kick start this round of Colour INKspiration Challenges.
Colour INKspiration is on Facebook and this fortnight we have a lovely swatch of colours to work with.
The Colour Palette for #CI06 is Night of Navy, Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Gold.
For my project today, I did something I rarely do and that is CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) someone else’s design in it’s entirety! The lovely, Julia Quinn sent me a gorgeous z-fold card a few days ago; It was very thoughtful and much appreciated and the design was AMAZING! Julia’s card and CI06 was a great excuse for me to ink up High Tide for the first time.
The CI Crew hope you love the colour palette as much as we do and invite you to join in with the challenge this round!
Up next on the CI06 Blog Hop we have one of our newest team members, Nicole Wilson – She is sure to inspire!
Thanks for hopping by!
I am a fan of the High Tide set Bronwyn and love this z fold design and stamp combination… It gives plenty of room to show off the stamps to the fullest x
Wow!! This is STUNNING,
I really love your z fold cards. This is amazing (I have the lighthouse but yet to ink it, I think I might have to do one of these) gorgeous xx
Beautiful Bronwyn! Some cards are just made to be CASEd. Geez, we all do enough CASEing of your designs!!! Kelly x
So beautiful Bronwyn (and Julia). Such a great version of the Z fold card.
Beautiful CASE Bronwyn!
I would never have thought to use Hightide with these colours, but as always, you have inspired with your fab fun creations. xx
Oh my goodness, Bron. Another amazing creation! I love Julia’s original and your version as well. Gorgeous!
Thank you Bronwyn – what an honour to be CASED by YOU!! Love your card, and the way you’ve used the colours – totally brilliant. That gold foil works a treat as the light beam!!
The card has come up a treat in those colours, quite a natural effect.
Your z-fold cards are always stunning Bron and this is no exception!
Love the Z fold card. Really need to try to make one and this just may be the inspiration I need. Thanks for sharing the beauty of your talent!
Love, Love this Z fold card. What framelit did you use for the sand?
Hi Karon, I just used scissors to cut the ‘sand’.
Thanks for sharing this gorgeous card! I prefer making slim cards and would like to try to make it similar to yours! It will be for a 75th birthday and they have a water side house! Thanks for the ideas! You motivated me in using this set which I hardly use!
